"We wanted to implement a system where we can collect certificates of insurance and also do back ground checks, require back ground checks on contractors and also gather safety statistics."
About a year ago, we heard from the Walt Disney company that they were actually working with BROWZ on the contractor management program, and we saw it as an opportunity to hop the train, so to speak. So that's exactly what we did. We had some challenges with some contractors on the campus. We wanted to implement a system where we can collect certificates of insurance and also do back ground checks, require back ground checks on contractors and also gather safety statistics.
In addition to engaging all of our stakeholders and get them involved in the process also. I'd say in general, I think, the contractors are much more aware of safety on our campus just by general observations that we've made. We've also picked out based on the statistics and a lot of them were lagging indicators, contractors that may have not had the best safety practices, and they understand now because we had one-on-one meetings with them that we're watching, so I think we'll see some improvement. Right, Toby?
Absolutely. Absolutely. And they were very engaged when we brought them. It wasn't that it was a surprise. That they didn't know what is going on, so it was a nice opportunity to sit down one-on-one and let them know we are trying to help them improve and not try to eliminate them from our work force
The BROWZ site is very intuitive, easy to use, not very technically savvy as Toby can probably attest. But it's easy for me to use. So I think when I look into the system and searching for a contractor, it's very easy to find them. I love the insights so I get a glimpse of how often we are contacting them, so I see it as the program is very easy to use, and I actually-- my arm was twisted to download the app. And I was using--
He's a very big app guy.
Yeah, I'm a big app guy. I started using it yesterday. I haven't really dove in, but I think I like it.
Yeah, he's going to remove the computer process all together, and he just will use the app. I know him. He's a big app guy. It was good they twisted his arm yesterday to download the app.
